Dos and don'ts on the day

Please follow a few simple guidelines to help you enjoy your day with us.

Alcohol

Customers in the Duchess's Stand or Queen's Stand are not allowed to bring their own food or drinks into the racecourse. However there are a number of outlets available around the site selling alcoholic drinks. Racegoers on the inside of the track, on the Hill, Lonsdale, Upper Tattenham or in the Bus Enclosures, are permitted to bring their own food and a responsible amount of drinks (½ bottle of wine per person or 4 cans of beer). 

Picnics 

Customers in the Grandstand or Queen's Stand enclosures are not allowed to bring their own food or drink into the racecourse. However there are a number of outlets available around the site selling food and drink. Racegoers on the inside of the track, on the Hill, Lonsdale, Upper Tattenham or in the Bus Enclosures, are permitted to bring alcohol in with a substantial picnic, limited to half of a 750ml bottle of wine, champagne or prosecco per person or four cans of beer, cider or pre-mixed aperitif. Spirits, fortified wines and Pimm's or similar will not be allowed into the enclosures. Please remember to drink responsibly.
