Owners & Trainers

At the heart of our sport

Whether you are a regular or it is your first visit to Epsom Downs Racecourse, we look forward to welcoming you.

The Owners & Trainers marquee is located outside the Lester Piggot Gates between Car Park 2 and the Queens Stand.

The PASS system will be in operation and the standard allocation of six badges will be available for both individual owners, as well as a partnership/syndicate per runner.  Your PASS card must be used to gain entry and collection of the complimentary badges.  You can include your guests’ names through the new online PASS system.

Additional owners’ badges can be purchased at half price up to a reasonable number which have been agreed in advance.  These can be made by calling Amy Bone on 01372 726311 the day before racing or email amy.bone@thejockeyclub.co.uk.  Please include your PASS card number.

For more information, please call our Owners and Trainers Liaison Manager, Amy Bone on 01372 726311 or amy.bone@thejockeyclub.co.uk.

Car Parking

Owners & Trainers parking is in Car Park 2.  No car park labels are required.

Racing Facilities & Hospitality

Our exclusive Owners and Trainers facility, the Prince’s Stand, is situated past the winning post and next to the Queen’s Stand.   This facility includes a full cash bar, complimentary food and hot beverages, and a Tote service.

We offer special private box hire package rates for our owners and reserve a number of tables in the Derby Suite restaurant in the Queen’s Stand for owners.  As an owner you will receive a 10% discount in the food package price plus a complimentary bottle of champagne.  If you would like to discuss either of these options, please telephone our raceday hospitality team on 01372 477747 or email london.hospitality@thejockeyclub.co.uk  Please state that you are an owner with a horse running when making the booking.

Dress Code

Whilst we try to keep restrictions to a minimum, we would be very grateful if you would adhere to a smart casual dress code. Jackets and trousers with a collared shirt are encouraged. Smart denim (no rips or tears) is acceptable. For the avoidance of doubt, sportswear and trainers are not permitted in the Queen's Stand. There is a separate dress code in the Queen's Stand during the Investec Derby Festival. For full dress code details, see the link at the bottom.

Children in the paddock

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the Paddock under any circumstances. Children aged between 12 and 16 will only be given access if accompanied by an adult and have also had permission from either the Clerk of the Course, Andrew Cooper, or the General Manager, Simon Durrant. Only they are allowed to authorise such access.
