A French Twist

Racing & Entertainment

This year, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, falls on the same date as Season Finale. The French Classic, known as the French Derby, see's many of the Epsom Derby runners go on to battle it out across the pond. A prime example being Golden Horn in 2015, ridden by Frankie Dettori, who took victory in both races. This year, the champion filly, Enable, who won the 2017 Oaks at Epsom Downs is entered into the french classic and so we see it only right that the race will be aired on the big screens, here at Epsom Downs, for all to cheer on the British representative.  To celebrate this, there will be a french theme to the day, reflected in the entertainment and food offerings.
